Vegan Yogurt Review

Vegetarian, each breakfast consisted of granola with fruit and yogurt. As a vegan, I replaced yogurt with vanilla soy milk. It's very good, but not as creamy. Recently, I was able to reproduce my favorite breakfast when I discovered the variety of vegan yogurts at the April store.

In order to help you choose your vegan yogurt, I compared 2 brands, Amande and Yoso.

 Amande - Blueberry

AMANDE

YOSO

Soy based

Made in Ontario (local)

Contains Omega 3 and 6 (unlike Almond)

Smoother texture

High sodium content

Tastes sour

NUTRITIONAL VALUE & PRICE

Because the format of Yoso is 125g vs 170g for Amande, I brought the nutritional values of each yogurt on the same basis, 125g.

The nutritional values are very similar. What stands out from this comparison is that Yoso contains a lot more sodium (42mg) than Amande. However, we note that Amande is more expensive.

RECOMMENDATION

Both yogurts have very similar texture. On the other hand, I have a preference for the sweet taste of almond milk vs soy milk. Personally, my favorite is Amande yogurt which also contains way less sodium.
