First time at Wholefoods
I've been hearing about Wholefoods in the vegan community for so long. And to my dismay, no branch has yet opened in Quebec. When I arrived in Texas, the first thing I did was go to Wholefoods to do groceries of non-available products in Quebec! Here is what I found:
Ben & Jerry's : Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frozen Dessert
I had heard about it, but never seen it in Quebec: Ben & Jerry's vegan ice cream! Of course, I was super excited! Was it as good as I imagined? YESSS
You will ask me: Am I exaggerating? You'll see when you taste it! Seriously, there are pieces of brownies IN the ice cream, which obviously is not made with cream, but almond milk! Compassion will never have tasted so good!
Faque, do I recommend the product? Yes!!!

Upton Natural: Thai curry Jackfruit
Jackfruit is known as a good replacement for meat because of its fraying texture. So I was very excited when I found this one marinated in different flavors: Thai, BBQ, etc.
I was very disappointed with the product, not only for its taste, but also for the texture. There were round pieces that reminded me of animal cartilage .. I feel disgusted just writing about it.
I'm ready to give this product a chance if you tell me I did not have the right way to cook it. I cooked it in the pan to warm it up and then ate it in a burger with mustard.
Quick to prepare
Low in protein (1g per serving)
Texture and taste very disappointing
2 servings per package only (unlike the 4 portions on the package)
How to prepare:
In a sandwich with mustard
In a wrap
I do not recommend this product which greatly disappointed me.

Sweet Earth : burger patties
Burger patties are very convenient for quick dinners. I discovered this brand when I went to Wholefoods.
15g of protein per pattie
Texture and thickness of the patties
High sodium content (like all processed products)
I did not find this mark un-belie-vable, but their taste is good and better than Yves' burger patties. I recommend more Aliments racine patties than these because they are thicker and with a more refined texture.

I recommend you to go to Wholefoods during your next trip to the US. This grocery store makes me dream and made me discover so many products!
