Black Bean Burger
The fastest veggie burger recipe you'll ever make! I also love it because the patties can be cooked on the barbecue.

Servings : 4-6 patties
Ingredients
- 540 ml (19 oz) black beans (1 can or cooked) 
- 1 small onion 
- 1 clove of garlic 
- ¼ cup (60 ml) ground flaxseed 
- ¼ cup (60 ml) quick-cooking oatmeal 
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) chili powder 
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cumin 
- 1 tsp (5 ml) canola oil 
- Water (if needed) 
- Salt & pepper 
Preparation
- In a food processor, add all the ingredients and mix until semi-smooth. If you don’t have a food processor, roughly crush the beans with a potato masher and finely chop the onion and garlic. 
- Form patties and cook in a non-stick skillet with a little oil or on a barbecue on a cooking sheet. 
- Serve on buns with the condiments of your choice.
